The Bachelor Auction Details |

The details are in! The bachelor auction will feature 8 fabulous men donating their services for dates with 8 lucky ladies. The dates are all furnished through donations by local businesses, so all the money from the auction can go to the Rock for Tots fundraising efforts. The show will be at the Distillery on November 21st, and will feature performances by Truck, Chakobsa, Throne of Vengeance, and The Scorched Banditos.

It's that time of year again. Halloween has come and gone and Punk vs Metal #20 was a hell of a success. And, now that November is upon is we have a roster of 40 bands giving their time and energy to the 5th annual Rock for Tots. Not only are we doing two shows a weekend again this year but Nov. 21st will also be a chance for the ladies to bid on some Grade A Beercore Man meat, with dates provided by our many sponsors.

Calgary Beer Core presents Rock for Tots 2009! |
The Calgary Beer Core is pleased to announce that the fifth annual Rock
for Tots fundraiser will be taking place throughout the month of
November at five venues around Calgary. There will be nine shows and 40
participating bands. Calgary Beer Core bands donate their time and
talent to help us raise money which is then translated into toys for
less fortunate children via The Salvation Army.
A CBC first, the show on November 21st at the Distillery will include a
Beer Core Bachelor Auction, with several members of the CBC agreeing to
climb up on the auction block to raise money for this very worthwhile
cause. The bachelors will take the winning ladies on fabulous dates
donated by local merchants and businesses.
